This course is a continuation of HIST 101  from the Reformation to contemporary times. Emphasis is given to the growth of strong nation states, revolutions, liberalism, nationalism and imperialism, and current problems resulting from two global wars and the end of the cold war. Satisfies GEN ED Area I Discipline B: History and GEN ED Area II Discipline A: Social Sciences.
