Designed for sophomore and junior-level students, there are examples throughout the course taken from many areas in the life sciences, including genetics, physiology, ecology, agriculture, and medicine. Topics will include: descriptive statistics including various graphing methods, normality, measures of central tendency and measures of variability, probability, populations and sampling, principles of hypotheses testing, as well as common parametric and non-parametric tests.
