The content of this degree program is designed to train students in the theory and application of computer science and the application in a variety of disciplines. Courses are offered in a variety of topics including programming languages, data structures, computer organization and architecture, software engineering, operating systems, and other computer science topics. The Computer Science program is ideal for persons who wish to pursue their careers in government agencies or private corporations or graduate study in computer science-related multi-disciplines. It is advisable that students take 300 and 400 level computer science, natural sciences, engineering and technology courses relevant to the field of interest.

Departmental Requirements
Completion of the B.S. degree in Computer Science requires 120 credits, with a grade of “C” or better in required major and advanced computer science courses and courses in mathematics.
