Nutrition Science Minor

A minor in Nutrition Science will provide a student with an interest in science an understanding of biochemical reactions involved in human metabolism, human organ systems, an overview of nutrient function, nutrient requirements and metabolic regulation of nutritional pathways.  Students will be provided with a foundation in the scientific principles of food and nutrition throughout the life cycle.  A Nutrition Science minor will complement a major in any health profession, chemistry or biology.
