ANPT 473 Swine Production

Modern, applied aspects of swine production are covered, including breeding and selection, reproduction and artificial insemination, nutrition and feeding, environmental aspects of housing and management, production systems, herd health, and pork products and their value in the human diet. Prerequisite(s): ANPT 114  or permission of instructor. Two hours lecture and three hours laboratory per week.
