SPAN 101 Fundamentals of Spanish I

This course provides for the acquisition of basic skills in the language through drills in pronunciation, grammar, and translation of elementary prose. To receive credit for this course, the student must also complete SPAN 102 . It is recommended that students who have two or more years of high school Spanish take an examination for credit. Laboratory work is required. Satisfies GEN ED Area I Discipline C: Language.
