MATH 210 Elementary Statistics

The course covers frequency and graphs of distributions; calculation of averages from raw data and grouped data; the standard deviation; the Binomial, Poisson, and normal distribution and their properties; Bayes Theorem and Bayesian inference; Regression and correlation in two variables; and Times Series Analysis and applications. Prerequisite(s): A grade of ‘C’ or better in MATH 102  or MATH 109  or MATH 110  or MATH 304 .
