CSDP 616 Data Mining and Applied Analytics

This course covers the skills required to assemble analysis flow diagrams for both pattern discovery (segmentation, association and sequence analyses) and predictive modeling and may address functionality of SAS Text Miner software.  Flexible multivariate models using artificial neural networks will be applied to either prediction or pattern recognition problems.  Applications include building credit scorecard recommended by leading credit and financial experts and a possible experience to access Teradata via cloud.  
Prerequisite(s): CSDP 604  with basic knowledge of SAS or WEKA, MATLAB or permission of the instructor.
