AVSC 252 Commercial Pilot Flight I

This course is actual flight and simulator time for private pilots to learn commercial pilot operations necessary to meet the requirements of the initial stage(s) of the FAA Part 141 Commercial Pilot syllabus.  Emphasis is on advanced cross-country and night operations.  Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have mastered the VFR cross-country and night aeronautical knowledge and skill requirements for an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate. A Flight Lab Fee is charged for this course. Flight Lab Fees are subject to change depending on flight training cost adjustments. Refer to the Aviation Sciences Student Handbook for updated fees and policies. A Transportation Security Administration (TSA) clearance or proof of US citizenship is required. Students must see Aviation Science Coordinator to register for flight courses. Prerequisite:  Departmental permission required.  Co-requisite:  AVSC 251  .
