BIOL 211 Principles of Biology III

Credit 3
This course is an introduction to the principles of Biology with emphasis on biodiversity, evolution, and ecology. The course focuses on (1) biodiversity within five kingdom systems, (2) principles of evolution, and (3) population and community ecology with applications to environmental issues. Principles of Biology I is intended for the Biology major and persons in the related sciences. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 111  (grade of C or higher). Corequisite(s): BIOL 213   The course is comprised of three hours of lecture per week.
