An examination, in comparative analysis, of the criminal justice and penal methods of pertinent countries and the United States. Major emphasis will be given to the issues of intent, criminal responsibility, individual and public interests, purposes, and modes of prevention, repression and punishment, methods of trial, punishment and pardon.
