Conceptual operation of PN-junction diodes, bipolar junction transistors (BJTs), and mono-oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs); transistor circuits for inverters, NAND, and NOR gates; semiconductor memory; large and small signal characteristics of diodes and transistors; basic transistors configurations; DC bias and small signal analysis of BJTs and MOSFETs; multiple-transistor circuits such as operational and differential-amplifiers; frequency response of simple amplifiers.
