AGNR 111 First Year Experience SeminarCredit 1 This course helps to prepare students for career opportunities, as well as assisting with professional development. It focuses on adjustments needed to succeed in college, study skills and test taking, crisis or stress management, and on understanding the significance of the land-grant system. This course is designed to acquaint students with current trends, pertinent issues, and modern practices associated with the various disciplines in agriculture and natural resources from a global perspective. Required of all first year students in the Department of Agriculture, this course substitutes for the University-wide 100 level course: First Year Experience Seminar. Satisfies GEN ED Area VI: Emerging Issues.
