ARTS 102 Drawing I

Start your journey in art mastering how to see objects accurately and translate that vision into drawings. Explore concepts of composition, perspective and the human figure with gestures, contour lines, tonal values, texture and the illusion of depth. The human figure, sometimes nude, is a foundation of drawing, and students will demonstrate professionalism and proper etiquette. Studio, four contact hours. Laboratory, four hours.
