CSDP 351 Computer ArchitectureCredit 3 This course covers how computer hardware works, logical aspects of system implementation as seen by the programmer and what considerations go into the design of a computer and components. Topics include processor design, instruction set design and addressing; control structures and microprogramming; memory management, caches, and memory hierarchies; interrupts and I/O structures; and advanced topics. Prerequisite(s): A grade of ‘C’ or better in CSDP 301 .
