ENGL 215 Introduction to FilmCredit 3 Online This course involves a study of the motion picture as an art form and as an influence on society. Basic concepts of organization, structure, and techniques of editing are examined through the reading of selected material and the viewing of a number of short films and excerpts from feature films. The course moves from the basic psychology of visual perception through the history, theory, and critical standards of film. Prerequisite(s): ENGL 101 and ENGL 102
