ENGL 467 Peer Tutor Workshop

Credit 1
This course provides training and guidance to Peer Tutors working in the University Writing Center. The course will explore the role and responsibilities of a peer tutor and will impart the fundamental research based knowledge and skills of effective peer tutoring. Specific issues will be addressed on a weekly basis. Writing Center Peer Tutors must take this course before or during their first semester as a tutor. Prerequisite(s): Permission of the instructor Course may be repeated for credit.
