EXSC 490 Internship in Kinesiology

Credit 6
This course provides students with the opportunity to learn skills and to gain professional experience in a particular area of interest.  This course is intended to complement and extend student knowledge and abilities in health, clinical, and/or sport settings. Emphasis is placed on having the student complete a hands-on, direct practical and professional experience at an approved site.   Prerequisite(s): Senior status with the approval of Department Chair. Student may not exceed 12 semester hours during the semester in which they complete their professional internship experience.
