MATH 301 College GeometryCredit 3 This course covers basic concepts of Euclidean geometry, such as distance congruence, similarity, triangles, parallelism. Pythagorean theorem, axiomatic geometry, Non-Euclidean geometry, and comparison with Euclidean geometry. This course is essential as a part of the training of prospective teachers of secondary school mathematics. Prerequisites: MATH 110 or MATH 111H with a grade of ‘C’ or better and MATH 300 with a grade of ‘C’ or better. Prerequisite(s): A grade of ‘C’ or better in MATH 110 or MATH 111 and MATH 300 .
