NUDT 300 Essentials of Nutrition PracticeCredit 1 This course introduces the student to nutrition/dietetics practice. It includes a review of the history of the profession as well as the educational and experiential requirements for the nutrition practice. Course content includes legislation, standards, and regulations affecting practice; professional and bioethics; career opportunities; and factors which affect the delivery of nutrition services. The course is open to junior or senior level nutrition/dietetics majors.
