SOCI 313 Criminology and Penology

This class provides an overview of contributions of the various schools to the development of criminology. Theories of physical, psychological, and environmental factors in crime are presented. The role of the home and family, social relationships, and the methods and instrumentalities of criminal justice, and crime prevention are central to the class. Prerequisite(s): SOCI 101  of SOCI 201 .
