SOIL 443 Soil Chemistry

This course provides students with knowledge of the chemical composition and formation of soils, knowledge of cation and anion exchange, soil acidity, soil alkalinity, soil salinity, soil conditions, and soil fixation of nutrients. Chemical methods of soil analysis are studied with emphasis on their relation to fertilizer requirements. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 112, CHEM 114 and SOIL 203
