The design process is utilized to solve problems and design contemporary products. Basic technical drawing skills are developed, such as sketching, coordinate systems, the principles and theory of visualization, shape description, orthographic projection, basic descriptive geometry, axonometric drawings, and developments. Students use and apply computer-assisted drawing and design (CADD) software to produce basic technical drawings and three-dimensional designs.
