SOCI 431 Senior Seminar in SociologyCredit 3 Honors The course as a captsone course invites students to utilize all the knowledge gained from other courses in Sociology in the preparation of a research project which is reported in writing and defended orally before the members of the seminar. The focus of this course is to assess and evaluate students’ knowledge of sociological concepts, theory and research process in providing descriptive and/or causal explanations of social phenomena in society. Prerequisite(s): SOCI 221, SOCI 222, SOCI 231 and SOCI 232. Open to Seniors majoring in Sociology.
