BIOL 473 Ichthyology LaboratoryCredit 1 This course will cover the taxonomy, evolution and ecology of fishes. The course covers fish patterns of distribution from both an historical and contemporary perspective. Emphasis is placed on the identification of the marine, estuarine and freshwater fishes of Maryland. This is offered as a combined undergraduate and graduate course. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 211 or permission of instructor. Corequisite(s): BIOL 471 Ichthyology.
