BUAD 217 New Venture Creation

Credit 3
This is a course that allows students to develop a launch ready venture through the full development of a business plan. Students will demonstrate a conceptual and hands-on understanding of the process required to turn an idea into a viable business venture in the “real world.” Students will prepare a business plan that includes an executive summary, product/service design and development, marketing, financial planning, operations, timelines, critical risks, and assumptions. They will develop basic financial statements and projections. Prerequisite(s): None
