CHEM 437 Chemical Kinetics

Credit 3
This course presents an advanced study of chemical kinetics.  It will include a detailed examination of kinetics analysis, various theories of reaction dynamics, design, implementation and analysis of experimental methods to determine kinetics in both gas and condensed phases, and photoinitiated reactions. Students will be introduced to numerical methods in kinetics analysis and study reactions that occur on a variety of timescales. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 401   and MATH 112   Corequisite(s): MATH 211
