This course provides a comprehensive overview of supervision and leadership theories and applications in the hospitality industry. This overview includes reviews of contemporary issues, classical theories, leadership perspectives, and system-oriented approaches. Other topics include leadership development, personal assessment, ethical problem-solving and decision making, motivational theories, cultural diversity, performance evaluation, conflict resolution, and change processes.
