Principles of thermodynamics as applied to biomedical systems. First law and second law of thermodynamics, statistical thermodynamics, and reaction kinetics as it relates to biological systems, and biomedical technologies will be covered in this course. Prerequisite(s): PHYS 262 & CHEM 112 and a Biomedical Engineering major.
