BIOL 112 Principles of Biology IICredit 3 Honors This course is an introduction to the basic concepts of biology with emphasis on structure and function, focusing on adaptations of plants and animals. Representative animal systems are discussed and contrasted with representative plant systems. Included in the course is the study of the animal physiology and plant physiology. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 111 (grade of C or better). Corequisite(s): BIOL 114 This course is comprised of three hours of lecture per week. Satisfies GEN ED Area III: Biological and Physical Sciences.
