BIOL 261 Invertebrate ZoologyCredit 4 This course is presented as a survey of invertebrate animals with emphasis on the relationship between structure and function and evolution of major groups. Life history, strategies, and behaviors and are major topics of discussion. Laboratory emphasis is on examination of animals. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 111 (grade of C or higher) or consent of the instructor. This course is comprised of two hours of lecture and two two-hour laboratories per week. Laboratory fee required.
