EDSP 416 Program Development & Instructional Delivery for the Educationally Disabled

This course is designed to examine the specific programs, instructional strategies, and resources that are appropriate for educationally disabled students at the elementary and secondary levels. It addresses the organization and management of special education programs and prepares students to adapt and modify curriculum. It also prepares students to work collaboratively as teacher consultants and academic coaches, on interdisciplinary teams, and in inclusive classrooms and teaches them to develop and manage of student records (e.g., IEP, IFSP). In this course, students create and modify lesson plans and develop individualized education plans. EDSP 416 is integrated with a field experience. Prerequisite(s): Students should complete the following courses prior to entering this course.
